Barend Kruger was admitted as attorney on 25 February 1992. In December 1994, he and Johannes (Johan) Odendaal entered into a partnership agreement to establish Odendaal & Kruger Attorneys in Delmas. The firm officially commenced practice on 1 January 1995. For 28 years, Barend Kruger and Johan Odendaal practised together as partners until Johan sadly passed away on 31 December 2022. Johan was not only an attorney but also a passionate farmer who had a heart for the farming community around Delmas. Following his passing, the practice continued as Odendaal & Kruger Attorneys Incorporated, with Barend Kruger as the sole director. The firm’s foundations are rooted in family and community values, reflecting the character of the small town where it was established. We believe in active involvement in the local community and in supporting local businesses, schools, and organisations. Over the past three decades, the practice has gone from strength to strength, advising and assisting clients across South Africa in a wide range of legal matters.
